Common Client Questions
Got Questions? We’ve Got Answers!
How do you determine pricing?
We differ from many studios in the area in where we charge by the size/colour of the piece, this allows us to guarantee the quality of the tattoo. We understand a tattoo is a meaningful piece you'll wear for life, it's better to take utmost care if needed, this can be time consuming and of course painful but we find this to be better than rushing through the work! We are happy to organise a payment plan with the client if needed.
Can I use numbing cream? Will it affect the results?
You are welcome to use numbing cream but some people may be allergic to certain creams, please test the cream before applying on the day of your tattoo. The cream may slow the tattoo process and the healing process, in general we don't recommend numbing cream but if you would like to use it we suggest going to the pharmacy and making sure to test it.
Do tattoos hurt?
Yes it does hurt but pain is relative, everyone has a different level of pain tolerance, different body parts will also have different pain levels, if concerned about this- feel free to ask the artist on your consultation about the general pain levels of your chosen body part, they have a wealth of experience to draw from.
Are Tattoos safe?
Yes, as long as you utilize a reputable artist that is following all health & safety procedures (these are quite stringent and extremely important!) , also make sure you are honest about any pre existing medical condition as this could affect the work and how your body reacts to the ink.
